Noosa enjoys a year round sub-tropical climate, with an average temperature of 25 degrees. Noosa is perfect any time of year. Winter is June, July and August and we recommend you also bring some warmer clothes during these months (just in case!)

Boating and Fishing

Boat hire is available at many locations on Gympie Terrace and at Noosa Harbour. A boating licence is not needed. Hiring a boat on Noosa River is a fun activity. Explore the beaches at the Frying Pan, cruise down the river to the lakes or stop at some of the restaurants on the river. Small motor boats and sailing boats can be hired. The boat hire companies provide fishing rods and bait if you want to try your luck at fishing!
